Stonebridge Homes has appointed a new Finance Director to its senior management team.

With a background as a Chartered Management Accountant, Carolyn Forshaw brings a wealth of experience in finance and management, having worked with a number of construction companies and residential developers such as McCarthy Stone, Harron Homes, and Taylor Wimpey.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the role, Carolyn stated, “I have been impressed by the company’s sustainable plans for the future. It is evident that the success of Stonebridge has been built on strong values, and a focus on delivering a quality product by a dedicated and experienced team. I am relishing the fresh challenge this role will bring and engaging with all parts of the business on this journey together.

“Stonebridge’s company ethos made my decision to join the company an easy one, and one of the factors that influenced this was their hybrid working. The scheme offers flexibility and demonstrates the company’s commitment to supporting its staff while fostering a positive work culture.”

Having progressed through the ranks in finance, Carolyn has served as a Finance Director for over 20 years and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants (FCMA). In her new role at Stonebridge, Carolyn will actively contribute to the senior management team, playing a vital part in shaping the overall business strategy and driving financial performance in alignment with the company’s objectives.

Steve Errington, Managing Director at Stonebridge Homes, emphasised the importance of Carolyn’s role in achieving the company’s growth plans during a rapid period of development. He highlighted her impressive track record in business growth and financial performance, adding that her skillset further strengthened the extensive experience of Stonebridge’s senior management team.

Stonebridge Homes is a fast-growing SME, with ambitious growth plans. It is part of the Henry Boot PLC Group; a successful land, property and development business founded in 1886.
