Deposit Unlock is a fantastic new scheme that enables you to buy a new build home with just a 5% deposit. Both first time buyers and home movers can take advantage of Deposit Unlock using a maximum mortgage of £750,000, giving more people the opportunity to buy their own home.
This new scheme has been developed by the Home Builders Federation, with lenders and the house building industry. After a successful pilot scheme with Newcastle Building Society in June 2021, more than 30 house builders have now joined the scheme. Deposit Unlock is available now with NBS and Nationwide, with many more lenders and builders are set to join in the coming months.
