Land Acquisition in Marton-In-Cleveland

Middlesbrough Council have granted planning permission for Stonebridge Homes to build 45 new homes in Marton-In-Cleveland, Middlesbrough.

The 6.9-acre site, which will be known as Woodland Place, is ideally located in sought after Marton-In-Cleveland. The scheme will comprise of four and five bedroom homes, of which 18 will be bungalows.

Martin Acott, Land Director at Stonebridge Homes, said; “We are delighted to confirm that we have secured planning permission for the Brass Castle Lane development, Marton-In Cleveland. It is an outstanding location which will complement and enhance our current portfolio of development sites. We purchased the site earlier in the year and we are pleased to be making a start.

“The scheme delivers 45 executive homes, with a wide range of four and five bedroomed homes, including 18 bungalows, all provided in line with the requirements of the Housing Allocation and Local Neighbourhood Plan. The scheme is low density and introduces features such as SUD’s ponds, swales, street trees and high-quality landscaped areas. We are really looking forward to seeing this site come to fruition.”

Over the last ten years, Stonebridge Homes has successfully delivered over 25 developments, and currently have six active sites in Yorkshire, two in the Northeast and one in North Lincolnshire, with plans to expand the business further across all three regions.
