We would like to invite you to our fun-filled foodie event, featuring MasterChef Runner Up 2023, Omar Foster.
On Sunday 1st October, Omar will be running three live cooking demonstrations in our beautiful Carnoustie show home at Forest Chase, Great Ouseburn. There will be three sessions throughout the day; two of which Omar will be cooking up one of his favourite dishes from MasterChef. The last session will be similar to the MasterChef’s invention test, however, there is a twist. The kids at Great Ouseburn Community Primary School have been tasked with choosing five ingredients from the local village shop, challenging Omar to create a tasty dish utilising these ingredients.
Omar said: “I’m very excited to be working with the great team at Stonebridge Homes on this event. Fingers crossed the children of Great Ouseburn Community Primary School are kind to me with their ingredient selections, it will be like being back on MasterChef!”
The sessions will run from 12.30-1pm, 1.30-2pm and 2.30-3pm. Alongside Omar, Jenny from the Coffee Bike will also be on hand, serving up refreshments for all to enjoy, and local baker 13 year old Oliver will be showing people how he makes his delicious brownies.
