Land Acquisition in Skipton

12 Jan 2021 | News

Craven Council has granted planning permission for Stonebridge Homes’ first development in the district of Craven, in the market town of Skipton.

The development will consist of 96 open market and 41 (30%) affordable homes incorporating a mix of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5-bedroom properties in a variety of styles and sizes. The scheme boasts landscaping throughout and the layout includes footpaths as well as children’s play areas.

Martin Acott, Land Director for Stonebridge Homes commented: “We are delighted to confirm that detailed planning consent has been granted for this site to the east of Skipton. This marks our ongoing commitment, investment and strong track record of delivering excellent quality developments in Yorkshire.

Our design proposals achieve a sensitive and appropriate approach and are considerate of the character of the area. This planning consent marks our dedication to building new homes in desirable areas and also the significant progress we are making in achieving the sustainable growth of our business.

Stonebridge Homes expect Spencer Grange to be released for sale in early summer and anticipate that the first home buyers will move into this phase of the development towards the end of 2021.

We are still actively seeking further development opportunities within the Yorkshire and North East regions and would be happy to assess any opportunities. Please contact land@stonebridgehomes.co.uk
