Just over a ten minutes’ drive from The Meadows, you’ll find Sandall Beat Wood, one of the most popular woodlands in Doncaster. Boasting 140 acres of walking paths, cycling routes, picnic spots and more, there’s something for everyone in these woodlands. There’s also a fantastic, recently revamped adventure playground for the little ones too.
For the kids that love the outdoors, there’s also Junior Rangers and Teen Rangers, which take place in the woods too. From pond dipping and shelter building to games and crafts, Junior Rangers will love getting their hands dirty and learning all about the outdoors. Astrabound Play Centre
Astrabound Play Centre is Doncaster’s biggest and best indoor play and party venue, and it’s only about a five minutes’ drive from The Meadows. This multi-level soft play centre is perfect for children between the ages of 0 and 12, and has dedicated play zones for babies, toddlers and juniors.
With soft play, ball pools and plenty of slides, it’s a great place to go where the kids can burn off some steam. Yorkshire Wildlife Park
